Towards the Detroit Motor Show 2012, Mercedes Benz has prepared two variants of the E-Class hybrid version. Equip the Mercedes E-Class with a powerful electric machine. Electric motor to assist acceleration works only when the first car ride from the stop position.

With these machines, this car can accelerate from 0-100 km / h in 7.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of up to 241 km / h (150 mph).
The second version of the E-Class, the E400 is equally equipped with an electric engine and the 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine. In terms of efficiency, both models is quite good. This car can reduce the efficiency of up to (56 mpg U.S. / 4.2 L/100Km) and emissions of up to 109 g / km of CO2.
Furthermore, Mercedees-Benz S400 will emphasize components that will be used in hybrid E-Class hybrid update. After the E-Class, the plan there is also the ML, GL, and pinned GLK hybrid technology.
