BMW Group Indonesia formally introduce four-cylinder petrol engines are equipped with latest generation technology in the BMW TwinPower Turbo 520i and 528i are assembled at the BMW plant in Sunter, North Jakarta.
Four-cylinder engine is a development of six-cylinder engine with TwinPower Turbo used in the BMW 535i. This machine is claimed to improve driving performance while improving fuel efficiency.
"With BMW EfficientDynamics strategy, we have pocketed a concept that is most effective in the world in terms of individual mobility, by pressing the fuel consumption and emissions while at the same time continue to improve performance," explains Ramesh Divyanathan, President Director of BMW Group Indonesia in Jakarta .
Ramesh further said that facts have proved, has been successful EfficientDynamics, the BMW Group managed to reduce CO2 emissions on cars manufactured in Europe by 30 percent over the last 15 years.
This brand-new engine also has diasup advanced features such as Valvetronic hard for more optimal air supply, and High Precision for efficient combustion through a mixture of fuel and air with a measure of precision and advanced turbo technology.
