As reported Inautonews, Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV use the existing base at the PX-MiEV II Concept. Finally, the final production version, the Outlander hybrid uses a gasoline engine 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with two electric motors.
The electric motor in the rear wheel, and an electric motor in the front wheel, with 12kWh lithium-ion battery. Mitsubishi says, the electric motor is able to develop the power of 81 hp (82 PS / 60 and a torque of 195 Nm kW0 (144 lb-ft).
Two electric motors are able to make this crossover to travel 55 kilometers, with a total mileage is a combination of two engines reach 880 km (547 miles). Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV drinking 1.6 liters of gasoline for up to 100 km (61 km / liter).
